Joseph O’Neill
Biography
Joseph O’Neill was born in Cork in 1964. His father was Irish and his mother Turkish. His family moved frequently when he was a child, so he spent much time in various countries, including Mozambique, Turkey, Iran and the Netherlands. He studied law a Cambridge University and became a barrister in London. He moved to New York in 1998, where he wrote his best-selling novel Netherland.
