Steinunn Sigurðardóttir
Biography
Steinunn Sigurðardóttir was born in Reykjavik in 1950. She took a degree in psychology and philosophy at University College Dublin. She was nineteen when her first book of poetry was published. She has continued to publish plays, poetry, novels and non-fiction works, as well as working as a broadcaster and journalist. Her partner is the composer Thorstein Hauksson.
