Maro Douka
Biography
NMaro Douka was born in 1947 in in Chania, Crete. She studied History and Archaeology at the University of Athens. She was imprisoned by the military junta in 1974 and her first book was based on her experiences in prison. She went on to write stories and novels. Two of her novels gave been translated into English.
