Alexis Stamatis
Biography
Alexis Stamatis was born in 1960 in Athens. His father was an architect and his mother an actress. He would later marry an actress. He studied architecture and worked as an architect in Greece and the United Arab Emirates. He has written eighteen noivels which have been widely translated, including four into English. He has also written poetry (some of which has been translated into English), short stories, two children’s novels and stage plays.
