Kerstin Hensel
Biography
Kerstin Hensel was born in 1961 in Karl-Marx-Stadt. She trained as a nurse. After working as a nurse, she trained in the Leipzig Theatre, before becoming a full-time writer. She has worked as a professor of film art in Berlin since 2001. She has written plays, poetry, film scripts, stories and novels.
