Laurent Mauvignier
Biography
Laurent Mauvignier was born in1967 in Tours into a working-class family. He took a diploma in plastic arts from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Tours. He published his first novel at age twenty-four, which won a prize. He went on to publish prize-winning novels as well as writing plays, screenplays and essays. His two brothers are both active in film.
