Eric Lane
Biography
Eric Lane was born in North London in 1949. His father was English and his mother Italian. He studied Italian and Russian at Manchester University before training to be a lawyer. In 1983 he founded Dedalus Books with his wife, Marie, Geoffrey Smith and Robert Irwin. The publisher has continued to publish primarily quality fiction, both written in English and translated. He has also written works of fiction himself.
