Olja Knežević
Biography
Olja Knežević was born in Podgorica in 1968. She graduated from Capistrano Valley High school in California. She has a BA in English language and literature from the University of Belgrade and an MA in creative writing from Birkbeck College in London. At Birkbeck College, where she completed her MA in Creative Writing in 2008, she was awarded the special Overall Prize for Best Dissertation, later published as the story In Seka’s Country in the British literary magazine MIR. She has published novels and stories.
