Négar Djavadi
Biography
Négar Djavadi was born in Tehran in 1969. She attended the French school in Tehran. When she was eleven, she and her family fled Iran following the Islamic revolution in Iran, crossing the Kurdistan by horseback. She studied cinema in Brussels and then taught cinema and made films in Paris, before writing her first novel Désorientale (Disoriental).
