Biography
Sheng Keyi was born in 1973 in Yiyang, Hunan province. She moved to Shenzen in the early 1990s and then to Beijing. She has worked for a securities company, as a secretary, correspondent, reporter, and editor. She has written ten novels as well as short stories since 2002, focussing on the poor and women’s issues.
