Biography

Rabai al-Madhoun was born in1945 in in the village of al-Majdal, near Ahkelon,Palestine. After the Nakba , his family migrated to a refugee camp in Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip , where Al-Madhoun grew up. He studied at A;exandria University but was expelled because of political activity. He has since worked as a journalist in various Arab countries, before moving to London and taking British citizenship. He has since moved to Spain. Two of his novels have been translated into English.
