Iván Thays
Biography
Iván Thays was born in Lima in 1968. He studied language and literature at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and published his first book, a collection of stories, in 1992. His now defunct blog – Moleskine was one of the foremost literary blogs on the web. Though one of the most interesting Peruvian writers of the post-Boom generation, he sadly has not been published in English. He was very much criticised by Peruvian commentators for his condemnation of Peruvian food (link in Spanish).
