Biography

Carlos Paradona Rufino Roque was born in 1963 in Inhamiga. After schooling in Mozambique, he went to Cuba to continue his studies. He published his first poems in 1980 in a magazine and continued to publish poems and essays in various magazines. He also worked in radio. His first book was a collection of his poetry. He has since published three novels, one of which has been translated into English.He is the current Secretary General of the Association of Mozambican Writers.
