Christos Papadimitriou

Biography

Christos Papadimitriou was born in1949 in Athens. He studied mechanical and electrical engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and then did postgraduate studies at Princeton in electrical engineering and computer science. He has taught at various US universities, including Harvard, where he was the research supervisor of Bill Gates), MIT and Stanford. As well as teaching he has written numerous papers and books in the field of computer science. He has also written two works of fiction on computer themes.
