Biography

Zhang Yueran was born in 1982 in Jinan, Shandong. Her father was a professor. She went to Shandong University and then the National University of Singapore, with a major in Computer Science. She went on to write stories and novels. Three of her works have been translated into English. She is currently a teacher of Literary Studies at the Renmin University of China.
