Blake Morrison
Biography
Blake Morrison was born in Skipton, Yorkshire in 1950. He studied at the University of Nottingham and University College, London and then worked as a literary journalist. He is currently a professor of literature. He is best-known for his memoirs, as well as writing about the killers of James Bulger and, in poetry, about the Yorkshire Ripper. He has written novels, a children’s story, various stories and essays, poetry, a libretto, non-fiction and for film and television and has edited various publications.
