Fowzia Karimi
Fowzia Karimi was born in Kabul. She immigrated to the United States in 1980 after the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and lived in Southern California. She received an MFA in Creative Writing from Mills College, California. She has illustrated two books. Above Us the Milky Way is her first novel.
