Angus Robertson

Biography

Angus Robertson (Aonghas MacDhonnchaidh) was born in Skye in 1871. He came to Glasgow as a young man and then lived in London. In 1907 he founded the literary magazine St. Mungo, where he first published the story Black Alpin which later became the novel An t-Ogha Mór: No, Am Fear-Sgeòil air Uilinn (Ogha Mor). As well as his novel, he wrote poetry and songs. He died in 1948.
