David Mitchell
Biography
David Mitchell was born in Southport, Lancashire, in 1969 but grew up in Malvern, Worcestershire. He studied literature at the University of Kent. After a year in Sicily, he spent eight years in Japan, teaching English. His novels have made use of his knowledge of exotic locations.
